Anthony has worked the DMV real estate market for 25+ years, and survived/thrived in up and down markets. Licensed in 1995, he has worn many professional hats: real estate agent, regional sales trainer, regional director of education as well as a managing broker in the robust market of Northern Virginia, Suburban Maryland and Washington, DC.
His core mission is to help investors (experienced & beginners) and families build financial legacies through real estate! This is based on an ancient proverb that says: “Wealth gained hastily will dwindle, but whoever gathers little by little will increase it.”
The Virginia, Maryland and Washington DC real estate markets are some of the most complex in the country. He has mastered the real estate legal and market intricacies of the tri-state area so that he can serve his sellers and buyers through the web of pitfalls that can send any transaction sideways.
Above all, he is an authority on contracts, negotiations, and strategies to direct his clients down a successful path of wealth-building, not just buying a house. Thus, he is a noted trainer, mentor and coach to real estate professionals throughout the DC market.
Anthony's real estate career is diverse, and he has proven his expertise as a sought-out speaker, author, blogger and problem solver. He authored the book, “Real Estate Investing Made Simple: A commonsense approach to building wealth”; and he was a contributing writer to the book, “The Best Real Estate Advice I Ever Received.”
As a columnist for RealtyTimes.com, Anthony wrote hundreds of articles that were circulated worldwide. A sought-after expert in the industry, Mr. Carr has been interviewed by news outlets nationwide, including the Los Angeles Times, The Washington Times, Woman’s World magazine and numerous webcasts. He has also been featured several times on CNN’s Open House broadcast.
Before launching his real estate career in sales and marketing, Anthony was the editor of The Washington Times' Friday Home Guide and served 8 years as the Director of Communications for the Northern Virginia Association of Realtors.
